Collection: Building Blocks

is an small aside from my usual floral themes. (Although there are some floral pieces available;)

At this point in life we are uprooting and making decisions on what rebuilding we want to do. Flourishes and flowers seem out of place in this season of change, but straight lines and strong, solid shapes resonate.

The building blocks of life are often small decisions made moment by moment every day. Decisions as simple as to trust and obey. Those two actions do not come naturally, but nothing is as comforting as trusting in the Master Builder and His grand vision to carve us into something much more than our splinters of doubt and frustration.

I was inspired by a vintage quilt that’s on our bed for the wall piece, and some of the earrings. No fancy stars or wedding rings, just clean, efficient squares sewed together in larger, efficient squares. 

I hope these pieces resonate no matter what season you are in! I can’t wait to see where they end up!
